Seventy sizzling sweethearts --
(Only one of them was mine)
I told you all my lovetarts --
(But none were the divine)
You took me to your graveyard --
Your heart is crystal clear --
I saw you looking at me from through your crystal mirror --
You put on your makeup and you ate a chocolate bar.
You slipped on a banana peel and fell upon the tar --
I looked at you in mercy and I gave you a guitar --
You played it on the floor and squirmed around so far -
I could always be your sweetie if you just let me play your part -
Of course we already understand what you mean.
I fell upon the concrete and gave you all my spleen.
It shook you to your core but you didn't think so lean;
I told you everything you wanted and told you the pestilential scene -
It was creeping upon the mountaintops and falling into sheen -
The snow became your glitter and the hair became your queen -
A forever-adventure with seventy sickles and two mean princesses -
A quiet adventure in no-man's-wonderland with a fountain full of glee -
A sickle full of adventure, a time for you and me.
The quietude! Alas! I found at last my lass;
She was looking for me from around her crystal ball;
Then her eyes became the sun and her moon became the crawl;
A terrible adventure with ninety-nine to behold -
She sold her soul and fell to mold;
I wanted you to understand I always could be seen -
It at last had forever flashed my mind - the BIOS like a dream -
Your memory bits had failed and the bytes were no longer there -
A split of hair, a candy care - a princess sheba queen.
Oh dear, what now? What do we have?
A meditative dream, awake; a fallen halite hair?
A nasty bit of sleep we have? A potion lately seen?
A fickle berry fountain? A sleeping wand-dry queen?
You cannot be serious; I have never seen you so much;
It had fallen into both of us; (Forever we see luck) -
But that's not all of it; I sold you laughing duck.
But before you hold your horses - before I sell my goo -
I've a word to speak to you; and to her who sold me too.
Because when you freeze the fountain it becomes fire.
And when you approach the center of the earth you know what happens -
It was funny how it came about until it died -
A death-muck that turned all to dust -
Until I approached and you saw me -
What did look so blobby?
You saw me and I took out an electric potato...
I ate it...
And I ate you.
Don't tell me - I know it -
I know that you know it too;
Every time you kiss me, I know that you feel it too;
It's quiet and sleeping - and it's a vampire waiting for you;
A werewolf comes out at night and makes you feel insane;
I ate you with my kisses and my spaghetti and my crazy tomato brain;
Don't worry if you sleep silent - I'll be there watching you;
We'll free ourselves tomorrow and find ourselves in two.
I lost my strand of gold.
But it wasn't rainbow-colored like the rest of the gold.
It reminded me of your soul.
So I ate it.
And then once I ate it, I found you watching me -
Just like the rest.
The rest of the night, the bird frozen in flight -
The weight of the dreams; the feel of your --
And then I crushed a candy-cane into glitter -
And into dust -
And I found it to be just like -
Something like the essence of a rock of precious metal which had been hidden away for thousands of years -
And it enabled you to find me -
Your magic stone -
I guess that's torn it.
I rode away in a flying balloon -
The moon had turned to water - the sun had turned to you -
Beware of light, beware of color -
And now we have all grey;
The magic flitter-flutter -- of tormented today -
I coughed in smoke, inhaled CO2 -
I wished for you to love me - just a wish of breath of you -
The merest happy-essence - the slightest effer-floo -
The quietest sunset stroking - the wishful bluest few -
The smiling cackle sunshine gleam - the quickening of the tubes -
The mightiest, manliest terror-striker; the technical tormented two.
Oh great. What do we have here now?
A writer sunshine fey?
Don't give me your magic, sweetheart;
Give me your sunset day;
I know that's what you're thinking;
You can't fool me -- not yet, anyway;
But summer-setting sadness -
Is all we have for rays.
What have we here?
A timely terror-tantrum?
Or a real but quiet stay?
Give me the blood; I'll give you today;
Don't sleep tomorrow; haunt them anyway;
Chuckle like madness; laugh like the dawn;
Quiet down your tiredness; I'll love you like a pawn.
Don't talk to that fairy!
She's not the one for you;
I'll blast her with my magic -
(I guess it's yours, ice cube.)
So sing with me: Have you seen the darkness with your light?
Observe your own eyes: Become spirit and sing with me -
Why do you want me to be superior -
I guess you give me no choice.
Because the only one who ever fought against you -
Was the sound, my dear, of your own voice.
Let's arm struggle and fight it out for life;
Because the farm juggles are now dark clowns trying to reduce the strife -
But I'll see you in the afterlife -
The beautiful sight.
Okay - two plus two is four.
But you're not good at math, so two plus two is door.
But no! Door plus door is fish;
And fish plus wish is risk;
So next time you see me - before you slam the door -
Let me know that four plus four is four.
Tell me everything -- the sweetie-pie on earth -
The mystical fountain of the deadliest hurt -
The canticle speaks: The misery flies -
The finest forever and the beautiful bye -
I can tell you the wishes - the laugh of the age -
the zeitgeist departs and the fantasy reigns.
Tell me what you want; I will give it to you;
But make sure you depart -- without a single clue -
The sickle is waiting; the silver for you -
the beautiful fountain - the terrible two.
Quick quick quick quick! Eat the chocolate bar;
mix the potion green - and don't go away so far;
move supersonic speed and sleep the chalice marred;
Drink deeply but don't forget - your world is now barred.
I had gotten some information from the local drunks.
They told me that the bartender was now broke.
So I tossed him a dime and told him to clean up his life;
As if all had suddenly from a dream awoke.
But then the smile sunshine world flew at me like a puzzle -
With dead ends and infinite drops and yellow-light muzzles
I said you were you, and she was she ...
I flew the coop - and killed the breeze.
Chicken! I saw the fat bird run -
Like an eye in an ocean, or a fantasy sun -
It became dark and evil - the eyes turned red -
The legs became steel - the head was lead -
It pecked at me and ate my arm - it had grown bigger than me -
Your fantasy dreams - the nightmares' smokescreen.
Hey, I just want to let you know -
Your eyes are on fire.
And there are horns growing out of your head.
There are golden coupons for you:
Five dollars off your next victim.
But make sure to fall down the falls in a barrel.
Cuz I wasn't even sure if you licked him.
Here we are but straying pilgrims:
Here we have but grief and woe.
Here we need such deadly whims:
Here we count the paradise flow.
Drop the anchor - we've made it here -
Make sure to thank her - the air is queer.
I feel vague and uneasy: The dread is long:
A pause in an ocean: the night of the song.
